LOUISIANA BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME
Arthurs was a Helms Athletic Foundation and UPI All-American selection in 1969. He finished his three-year career as the leading scorer in Tulane history, with 1,501 points for a 20.3 average. He set a school record with a 25.6 scoring average in 1969. He also averaged 19.4 points in 1968 and 15.4 points in 1967. His single game scoring high was 41 points.
